About the company
Founded in 1990 as a steel doors manufacturing division for AS Kolle construction company in just a year later it was supplying tested fire doors to Ypajän Konepaja OY in Finland.
In 1993 the first doors by technology of Israeli company Mul-T-Lock were produced. In 1996 U-Kolle was spun-off as an independent company.
Starting this moment the company developed via aggressive entry to the steel doors marketplace along with expansion to CIS markets.

- opening the branch office and a subsidiary (STEELFOR) in Moscow

- establishing the subsidiary (SIA SAJERS DOORS) in Latvia

During that time the company developed from a small series manufacturer of very few (2-3) fire doors models into a modern well equipped (EUROMAC presses, AMADA benders, spot welding equipment) factory capable of producing over 40 ISO and EN fire safety certified models.
U-Kolle AS is a truly modern enterprise employing over 150 people in Russia, Latvia and Ukraine, including 50 highly skilled engineers and managers
Company’s business today is development, manufacturing and certification of security and fire doors according to EN standards taking into account the current design trends and noise proofing requirements. One of the company’s primary goals is providing wide range of door accessories and locks meeting the highest world standards.
On April 1st 2005 the group of companies has moved into a new factory and office space totaling 4,500 sq.m (45,000 sq.ft) at Suur-Sõjamäe 35a. Among other things the new factory is equipped with the country’s largest painting line
